Stacey Nogy

Stacey Nogy is the news director at KARE-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Stacey is a native of western Pennsylvania and graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English Writing/Journalism. She started her career as both a print and broadcast reporter.

Eventually settling in broadcast journalism, Stacey worked at television stations in Erie, PA. and San Diego, CA., before moving to the Twin Cities as a producer for KARE.

Stacey moved through many roles at KARE including special projects/investigative executive producer and assistant news director before being named director of news content in 2018, and news director in 2021.

Stacey has won numerous regional Edward R. Murrow and Emmy awards for her work. She’s also been part of numerous national awards including: 2017 national Edward R. Murrow award for ‘Lost on the Lake;’2013 Walter Cronkite award for political coverage; 2015 IRE award, and 2018 du-Pont Columbia award for ‘commitment to investigative journalism.’
