Grandstand shows announced for 2019 MN State Fair

Hootie and the Blowfish and Weird Al Yankovic are the first two shows confirmed for the 2019 Great Minnesota Get-Together.

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - Looking for a great gift for that State Fair lover in your life? Well, you'll soon be able to snag tickets to two newly announced Grandstand shows.

Minnesota State Fair officials announced Monday that Hootie and the Blowfish has reunited and will perform Thursday, Aug. 22 with special guest Barenaked Ladies.

Tickets, which range between $51-$90, to the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 7.

In addition, Weird Al Yankovic has been confirmed as the second Grandstand show, bringing his Strings Attached Tour to Minnesota.

The Weird Al show will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Tickets are $31 and go on sale at noon on Friday, Dec. 7.
