ST. PAUL, Minn. - The stars were out in St. Paul Sunday night for the annual Starkey Hearing Foundation So The World May Hear Awards Gala.
The gala, in its 16th year, honors those who support the Starkey Hearing Foundation and its effort to give the gift of hearing to people across the nation and around the world.
Award honorees include Jennifer Garner, award-winning actress and advocate for early childhood education, and Paula Goldberg, executive director and co-founder of PACER.
“Starkey Hearing Foundation consistently grows and improves its mission to help more people reach their full potential and create a future filled with possibilities,” said William F. Austin. “We share the common belief with our honorees that we can change the world for the better.”
Other guests of the event included: Buzz Aldrin, Evander Holyfield, Jay Leno, Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The gala is anticipated to generate more than $9 million for Starkey Hearing Foundation missions.
