GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – Twin Cities drivers are some of the most polite motorists in the country -- at least according to a new study.
The study, which was conducted by travel site Expedia, deems metro-area drivers as the second most courteous in the U.S. Drivers in Portland, Oregon were considered the best mannered on the road.
Expedia’s 2016 Road Rage report asked more than 1,000 drivers their opinions on driving behavior, including which practices frustrate them the most.
Probably no surprise but texting and tailgating were tops on the list of worst driving behaviors. Other infuriating behind-the-wheel maneuvers include the last-minute line-cutter, left-lane hog and the “crawler.”
Survey respondents said New York drivers had the worst road rage, followed by drivers in Los Angeles then Chicago.
