MN Vixen to host Kansas City at home opener

This year marks the Minnesota Vixen's 20th anniversary.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The nation’s longest running women’s tackle football team is gearing up for its 2018 season home opener.

On Saturday, April 21, the Minnesota Vixen will host the Kansas City Titans.

Head Coach Lisa Brown and members of the Vixen stopped by KARE 11 to preview the big matchup.

This year marks the Minnesota Vixen’s 20th anniversary. Saturday’s game is at 6 p.m. at Simley Athletic Field in Inver Grove Heights.

Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for youth, ages 7 to 17. Seniors are just $10.

Kids, ages 6 and under, are free.

Fans on hand will also enjoy lots of fun family activities, food and tailgating prior to kick-off. The public is invited.
