'Kiss My Asana' yogathon highlights adaptive yoga

The four-week virtual yoga challenge helps to raise awareness and money for adaptive yoga programs at Mind Body Solutions.

MINNETONKA, Minn. -- Mind Body Solutions wants to prove that yoga is for everyone, and they're showing it all month long during the "Kiss My Asana" yogathon.

MBS offers adaptive yoga programs and helps transform the lives of people who are physically disabled or dealing with trauma and loss.

Yoga classes at Mind Body Solutions allow everyone to practice together, regardless of ability to activate muscles or move in a traditional way. It offers 11 different adaptive classes for people with limited mobility and chronic pain, including veterans, survivors of sexual assault, and young adults with intellectual disabilities.

The 5th Annual Yogathon is a virtual month-long fundraising and awareness-building event. Yogis both locally and across the country help to raise $60,000 for Mind Body Solutions' adaptive yoga programs.
