Spend your summer in St. Paul

Here are some of the highlights that will get you across the river this summer!

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Patios, breweries and lakes. Minnesotans can usually be found at one of these places during the warmer months but the streets of St. Paul are also going to be buzzing with activity.

Here are some of the highlights that will get you over the river this summer!

If jazz is your scene, join the 90,000 other fans that will flock to St. Paul on June 21 for three days of the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. National headliners and local treasures alike will take the stages in Lowertown and downtown.

Hit the water for the Dragon Festival on Lake Phalen; best known for the boat races, the community party also celebrates Asian arts and culture with installations, performances, and music. Each country in Southeast Asia will have its own dance and music to share. This one is July 14-15 at Phalen Golf Course.

From Asia to Europe, the nation’s largest Irish Fair happens in St. Paul Aug. 10-12. From Gaelic sports to a Celtic marketplace and even a native Irish dog show, the streets of St. Paul are going green with the luck of the Irish.

Keep that passport out because our travels continue with IndiaFest. Aug. 18 get your fill of Indian food, cricket, a bazaar, and live performances at the Minnesota State Capitol grounds.

And of course, the great Minnesota get together is always a highlight in the St. Paul calendar – starting Aug. 23 and going through Labor Day.
