SHAKOPEE, Minn. - "A charming small town diner" is how Wampach's Restaurant is described on its website, and that couldn't be more true. The restaurant has a loyal following and rich history, which helped it win our Sunny Side Up vote.
Wampach's is in downtown Shakopee and serves classic diner favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It opened in the 1950s, and as the town changed around it, it has remained a downtown staple.
The restaurant was sold in the 70s, but the new owners kept it just like the original, including a similar menu. To this day, Wampach's still makes all its own soups, gravies, daily specials and desserts!
