The free, two-day Chalkfest art festival begins Saturday in Maple Grove.
The second annual event features entertainment, food and family events. Thirty-four professional street artists will be taking over Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove from as far away as Bahrain, Mexico and Milan.
The artists will chalk Main Street, competing with one another for the people's choice awards.
Chalkfest is put on by the Arbor Lakes Business Association and the Maple Grove Arts Center.
It takes place Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information is available online.
