GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn -- In 2008, teenagers Sean Bloomfield and Colton Witte graduated high school early to follow a high school dream of wilderness adventure. They departed from downtown Chaska on the Minnesota River and paddled 2200 miles north to Hudson Bay, fighting strong currents, freezing temperatures, foaming rapids, and man-sized waves.
Now, eight years later, the book chronicling their journey has been released. Adventure North, written by Bloomfield and edited by Witte, takes the reader on an adventure of their own. In an inspiring but cautionary tale of survival and perseverance, Adventure North spurs the imaginative spirit within, and reminds us that adventure is always just around the next bend.
