GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Kellogg’s exclusively revealed the limited-edition Corn Flakes box featuring Minnesotan Mike Schultz, Paralympian and gold medalist on KARE 11.
Mike brought in his his first-ever gold medal in PyeongChang in boardercross, as well as his silver medal in banked slalom. He spoke about his nomination as male athlete of the Paralympic Games, and how he carried the U.S. flag in the opening ceremony.
Mike went undefeated this season as a snowboarder, while simultaneously acting as a mechanic to all riders wearing the prosthetic equipment that Mike engineered and built. Mike is a member of Team Kellogg’s 2018 Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and he was featured on a Frosted Flakes box earlier this year, too. He is the first-ever Paralympic athlete to be featured on a Kellogg’s cereal box.
