Pull For Pride raises funds for homeless youth

Co-hosted the Women's Strength Coalition, local lifters will be raising both awareness and month for youth homelessness, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofit Avenues for Homeless Youth.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Fun activities abound for this weekends Twin Cities Pride Festival.

Mark Schneider from The Movement Minneapolis stopped by to talk about Pull for Pride, a local dead lifting competition open to all gender identities and experience levels.

Co-hosted the Women’s Strength Coalition, local lifters will be raising both awareness and month for youth homelessness, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofit Avenues for Homeless Youth.

This fun and festive event will include a DJ, food trucks, raffle giveaways and topped off with an awards ceremony. Pull for Pride will take place Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Father Hennepin Bluff Park, 420 SE Main Street, in Minneapolis.
