GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The school year may have just begun, but when the first day of school arrives, three in 10 Minnesota children are not prepared to start kindergarten. St. David’s Center and Banyan Community are launching a one-of-a-kind, community-based early childhood education program in Minneapolis’ Phillips neighborhood.
