Coloring Time say they want to try out a new venue, just for fun...so they're setting up at Moon Palace book store in Minneapolis. The show starts at 9:00 p.m.

Then it's Willie Wisely, TURN! TURN! TURN! and Dylan Hicks at Turf Club. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the 21+ show starts at 7:30 p.m.


Glow Mechanics "Pompus Circumstance LP" album release party is at Mortimer's Saturday night, featuring Dan Mariska and the Boys Choir

The 13th Annual Happy Birthday Janis show, featuring the Mae Simpson Band, is at First Avenue on Saturday. The show is all about Janis Joplin, and artists will preform a song that inspired their music. The 18+ show starts at 7:00 p.m.

Cedar Cultural Center is hosting a HUGE show on Saturday as a fundraiser for the four people hurt and five people killed in an apartment fire the week of Thanksgiving. The 630 Cedar event will feature Thunder Band, Brass Messengers, Becky Kapell and the Fat 6, Jack Klatt, Amjet Kemet, Tatum and Tessa, Ray Barnard and more. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
