Any Dolly Parton fans out there? Turf Club is hosting A Tribute to Dolly Parton, featuring Haley, Kerry Alexander of Bad, Bad Hats, Savannah Smith and many more. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the 21+ show starts at 9:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the show will be donated to Women's March 2020.
Sassy punk student band VIAL, Denim Matriarch, pure SHIFTER and Flip Rushmore at 7th St. Entry. The 18+ show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday
Check out Poolboy with rock band Fragile Canyons and Beige at 331 Club. The show is at 10:00 p.m., and like their motto says, 'there is never a cover.'
The big party is this weekend for the The Current's 15th Anniversary Show at First Avenue and the line up is stellar. Funk and soul duo Black Pumas, Seratones, The Bad Man, MaLLy and 26 Bats. The show is sold out, but a livestream will be available for each set.
