'X' marks the spot for hot summer concerts

Fifteen different concerts, from pop to Christian to R&B, will come to St. Paul.

ST PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul is going to be an epicenter for live music in the Twin Cities this summer.

In June, July and August, Xcel Energy Center will play host to 15 different concerts featuring everything from pop to Christian, classic rock to R&B, and everything in between.

The fun starts on June 8 with Mexican singer icon Luis Miguel. June 11 brings the MixTape Tour, featuring an epic '90s lineup starring New Kids On The Block with very special guests Salt-N-Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty by Nature.

Australian-based, multi-platinum-selling Christian group Hillsong UNITED makes a stop in St. Paul on June 20. The very next day pop heartthrob Shawn Mendes will be in town. Pop diva extraordinaire Jennifer Lopez comes to the St. Paul on June 28. July and August will bring Ariana Grande, Backstreet Boys, Khalid, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Santana, John Mayer, Queen + Adam Lambert and Iron Maiden.
