MINNEAPOLIS — An oversized feline has found a new home, thanks to the Minneapolis PD.

Social media posts say the 26 pound cat named 'Hatfield' was surrendered to officers when they were executing a warrant. Police say his owner could no longer care for him.

The City of Minneapolis Twitter account followed up by noting that Hatfield "loves lasagna and naps, hates Mondays and is excessively sarcastic." Sounds a bit like Garfield's twin.

According to the post thread, Hatfield has already found a new home... but there are many other pets available for adoption through Minneapolis Animal Care and Control.
