GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Living a healthy way of life is important at any age. But for those in the “Sandwich Generation,” ensuring that your parents or other seniors in your life are staying active and healthy can often lead to added stress.
Life Time Fitness recently launched a “SeniorLife” program, which is comprised of activities and events, such as seminars with personal trainers, equipment orientations and yoga basics, for members 60 years of age and older.
The program is available throughout the Twin Cities including Fridley, Apple Valley, Plymouth, Coon Rapids and more.
Today on KARE 11, Life Time Fitness personal trainer Alysha Richey demonstrated some great exercises for seniors, who want to stay active. Life Time’s “Experience Life” Editor-in-Chief, Jamie Martin, also appeared on KARE 11.
Martin talked about the magazine’s many fitness and lifestyle articles which are dedicated to empowering people to become their healthiest. The May issue of “Experience Life” is available on newsstands now.
