Contrary to popular belief, sex isn't just for young people.

According to a new University of Michigan poll, 40% of people between the ages of 65 and 80 say they’re sexually active, while more than half say sex is important to their quality of life.

Dr. Emily Downing, a geriatrician at Allina Health, appeared on KARE 11 to discuss the health benefits of an active sex life as we get older, and what seniors should be discussing with their doctors about their sexual health.
