Big game chili

Rob Dubnecay of Chicago’s Taste Authority stopped by to talk about throwing a crowd pleasing big game party.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Rob Dubnecay of Chicago’s Taste Authority stopped by to talk about throwing a crowd-pleasing Super Bowl Party. No matter if your team made it or not, the focus is always on the food and drinks.

Rob shared the recipe, for a quick, easy Hot Dog Chili, which is representative of both Super Bowl Teams, and reveal how many million pizzas, wings and hot dogs Americans eat every Super Bowl Sunday.

Chili Recipe.


1 pound of ground beef (80%/20% fat content)
1 food processed raw carrot
½ cup of beef broth
½ cup of water
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon of onion powder.
¼ teaspoon black pepper
dash of cayenne powder
1 Tablespoon of Masa flour
4 Tablespoons of all-purpose flour



Method:
1. Food process carrot into tiny flakes.
2. Over medium-high heat, brown ground beef, add carrots, broth, and seasonings.
3. Add flour in tablespoon increments, stirring between each addition..
4. Reduce to low heat and simmer and stir for 10-15 minutes.
