Chef Lisa's no-bake Valentine's Day treats

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Sauce Anna Lisa creator and recipe innovator Chef Lisa O'Connell joined us with some easy-to-prepare and deliciously decadent no-bake Valentine's Day treats.

No-Bake Valentines Day Treats

No-Bake Cheese Cake

1 Graham cracker crust

16 oz. Cream cheese

1 ½ C. Heavy cream

1 C. Confectioners sugar

1/3 C. Sour cream

1 tsp. Lemon juice

1 tsp. Vanilla

Whipped cream and berries for topping *optional

To a medium bowl add cream cheese, heavy cream, sour cream, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Stir to combine. Pour mixture into pre-prepared crust. Using a spatula, smooth top to create even appearance. Place in refrigerator for 3-4 hours or until cream is set. Serve with whipped cream and berries or chocolate/caramel drizzle.

Strawberry Fudge

1 16 oz. Container strawberry frosting

1 12 oz. Package white chocolate chips

Melt chocolate chips in glass bowl in double boiler or microwave in 30-second increments until chips begin to melt. Don’t overheat in microwave. Once chips begin to soften, check every 15 seconds. Combine frosting and chocolate chips. Spread mixture into a glass baking dish and sprinkle with toppings. Let it set for 30 minutes and cut as desired.

No-Bake Decadent Dark Chocolate Cake

1 16 oz. Dark chocolate chips

1 C. Heavy cream     

6 oz. Sweet biscuits or graham crackers

Break or chop crackers into small pieces and place into glass mixing bowl. Heat cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat until just hot to the touch. Melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler. Add melted chocolate to cream and whisk together until well combined. Add chocolate mixture to crushed crackers. Pour combined mixture evenly into pie pan or small cake pan. Place in refrigerator for an hour or until chocolate is set. Before serving, dust with shaved chocolate or cocoa powder and garnish with fresh berries or ice cream.

Oreo Cookie pops

1 Package Oreo cookies

1 16 oz. Package chocolate chips

2 tsp. oil

Insert sticks into the middle of the cookies. Place in freezer for 10 minutes.

Melt chocolate chips in double boiler or in 30-second increments in microwave. Add oil to melted chocolate and stir to combine.

Dip cookies in melted chocolate and lay on parchment paper to add sprinkles. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chocolate has set.
