GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — If you search #StockTankPool on Pinterest or Instagram, you're in for a treat. It's a new budget-friendly alternative to installing a pool.

Kate Kundinger in Richfield just filled hers up and it's fabulous. The stock tank and materials cost her about $700 plus installation costs for creating the base with gravel and granite. She ordered the pump materials online and bought her stock tank from a farm supply store in town.

She also decided to paint hers with a silicone-based paint rather than leave it the raw stainless steel. Either way it's pretty chic.

Kate saw the amazing photos on social media and specifically followed this Hey Wanderer blog post for supplies and setup. But she also hired the folks at Barrett Lawncare to install it and Bobby was involved in the project.

Now she's all set to enjoy a relaxing float after work or invite girlfriends over for a weekend afternoon. We really want one too!
