MINNEAPOLIS - The world's number one travel destination is Paris, but The Big Apple still ranks as the number one U.S. destination, according to Trip Advisor's Travelers' Choice Awards for destinations.
This is the 8th consecutive year that New York City has been at the top of the domestic list.
Trip Advisor says the average annual rate for a hotel is about $400 per night.
The least expensive month to go to New York is in August, when you can save about four percent.
