Black Friday at MOA: Giveaways, Santa, shopping deals and more

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - While many are all about digital on Black Friday, it will be all old school when the doors open at 5 a.m. at Mall of America in Bloomington. Want a reason to shop in person? Try a MOA gift card valued between $10 and $500 for the first 200 guests in line at the main entrance to the North doors.

The Mystery Scratch Off will also kick off Black Friday morning where 8,000 free gifts will be given away Black Friday through Sunday, Nov. 25. Every morning throughout the weekend a limited quantity of mystery scratch off tickets will be distributed at the North entrance of Mall of America. Guests who receive a scratch-off ticket will have the opportunity to win amazing prizes including electronics, high-end retail products, gift cards, attraction tickets and more.

4th Ave. Performance and Meet and Greet - Friday, Nov. 23 @ 1 p.m. - The Rotunda

After making it to the season finale of the ABC show BOY BAND, members Marcus Pendleton, Mikey Jimenez, Jaden Gray, and Cam Jackson came together to form the group 4th Ave. This year the band released their debut EP titled "Initiation" followed by their first ever headlining tour across the US.

Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas Movie Viewing - Saturday, Nov. 24 @ 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. - The Rotunda

Guests are invited for an exclusive live premier of Hallmark Channel’s newest movie “Christmas Everlasting”. Other Hallmark Channel movie classics will play throughout the day leading up to the exclusive premiere.

Brooklyn Queen Performance and Meet and Greet - Saturday, Nov. 24 @ 1 p.m. - The Rotunda

Recording artist Brooklyn Queen broke onto the scene with her single “Keke Taught Me” which has been streamed more than five million times and her wildly viral #KekeTaughtMeChallenge dance video with nearly 14 million views on YouTube. She will host a meet and greet after her performance.

Nightly Holiday Light Shows

Every night through December 30, the south side of Nickelodeon Universe by LEGO transforms into a winter wonderland – with 2 different holiday light shows: “Swingin’ Christmas” and “Spirit of the Season.” Each show features lights, music, fog and snow effects.

$250 receipt promotion

Guests receive a reward for every $250 spent anywhere within Mall of America. Rewards to choose from with the $250 in receipts include Nickelodeon Universe wristbands, Sea Life and Crayola Experience tickets. The promotion is running now through December 24. The redemption center is located at the Nickelodeon Store on North level 1.
