First 'Caribou Cabin' opens in the Twin Cities metro

Your Caribou Coffee experience is about to get considerably more cozy.

BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Your Caribou Coffee experience is about to get considerably more cozy.

That is, if you stop at the new Burnsville location.

The first "Caribou Cabin" in the metro area opens Thursday, Dec. 19 at 2351 County Rd 42. The "official" grand opening is Jan. 3, 2020.

Caribou's new cabin locations are just under 600 square feet with no interior seating, and only drive-through windows. They're designed to capture a "Northwoods" feel, according to Caribou, and offer speedy and efficient service.

Guests can also walk up (instead of drive up) to the Burnsville location.

As part of the grand opening celebration, the Burnsville Caribou Cabin will offer these deals:

  • Jan. 3: $1 off any large beverage
  • Jan. 4-5: $1 of each order donated to Burnsville Girls Hockey Booster Club

Store hours will be:

4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. M-F
5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday
5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday
