GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Pick up a Minnesota Weatherguide Environment calendar for a holiday gift this year, or contribute a photo that could end up on next year's!
The calendars from Freshwater Society feature stunning regional photography from local and national photographers. They also include regional astronomy, weather records, and nature notes, plus weather from KARE 11 meteorologists and Grow With KARE gardening tips.
Submissions are now open for the 2020 calendar. You can submit up to 30 photos for consideration here through Jan. 7, 2019.
Submissions must be at least 300 dpi, preferably CMYK and TIF or JPG format. Photographs submitted for consideration should feature water or issues impacting our regional waters, weather events, phenological observations, astronomical phenomenon and/or natural scenes of Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Calendar sales support the work of Freshwater Society, a Minnesota nonprofit working for safe drinking water and clean, healthy lakes and rivers. They make great holiday gifts under $20.
