MINNEAPOLIS — Big Climb Minneapolis is one of 13 stair climbs for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) across the country where participants step up to take down cancer.
Funds raised are helping LLS fund cutting-edge research, provide support to patients and caregivers and drive public policy and advocacy.
The LLS says it has funded more than $1.3 billion in research and distributed $431 million in co-pay assistance. The organization says 53 new treatments were approved by the FDA since 2017 for blood cancers and that they supported 46 of those.
LLS encourages those impacted by blood cancer to visit their website for resources, information, education and support.
