BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Mauricio Legorreta, Executive Chef at Cantina Laredo at Mall of America Mauricio Legorreta, joins KARE 11 in-studio to dish out the 411 on making fajitas with the family and some in-restaurant specials happening on May 5!
Fajitas for 2
Grilled protein (chicken, beef, fish) - 1 lb
Onion white or yellow - 1 big one
Green bell pepper - 1 medium
Salt and pepper - to taste
Flour or corn tortillas - as need
1. Grill protein.
2. Cook onions, pepper with slat and peppers.
3. Cook at least until onions are translucent.
4. Slice meat and put on top of onion mix.
5. Heat up tortillas.
6. You can half avocado slices, different type of salsas and limes.
