GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Minnesotans are really good at putting snow to good use.

One of the ways to do that is sledding.

We asked our viewers to tell us what their favorite sledding hill is and we got a lot of responses.

Here are 11 sledding hells crowdsourced from our very own KARE 11 viewers, and a handy interactive map to find them:

Seeley Brook Park

4540 229th Ln NW, St Francis, MN 55070

There is a warming house that is open Monday thru Friday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. They also have a parking lot.

Valley Place Park 

6822 32nd Ave N, Crystal, MN 55427

This hill has a warming house that is open Monday thru Friday 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 12 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. The hill stays lit until 10 p.m.

Neil Park

13501 Upton Ave S, Burnsville, MN 55337

There are parking lots located on both sides of the street. The warming house is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday thru Sunday.

Whitetail Woods Regional Park

17100 Station Trail, Lakeville, MN 55044

The hill is next to the Empire Lake Picnic Shelter where heated restrooms and a fire pit are available.  You have to bring your own firewood. The Dakota County website describes the hill as being more suitable for older kids since it's a large hill. The park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Lakefront Park

5000 Kop Pkwy, Prior Lake, MN 55372

The park has a warming house that is open Monday thru Friday 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. They have a warming house hotline at (952) 447-9825 that can be reached for the latest updates.

Como Park

1431 Lexington Pkwy N, St Paul, MN 55103

The hill is open from sunrise to 11 p.m. There is nearby parking in the street. There is no warming house. 

Battle Creek Regional Park

75 Winthrop St S, St Paul, MN 55119

The park has several parking lots. It opens 30 minutes after sunrise and closed 30 minutes after sunset daily. The park also has cross-country ski trails. 

Beard’s Plaisance

4525 S Upton Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55410

The park has a paid parking lot, but otherwise there is plenty of street parking. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. There are restrooms and drinking fountains near the hill.

Kenwood Park

2101 W Franklin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405

There is street parking in the area. The park is open from 6 a.m. to midnight. There's restrooms and a walking path.

Staring Lake Park

14800 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347

The park has just been renovated and is now open! The hill is available from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. The hill is lit during the evenings.

Clifton E. French Regional Park

12605 Rockford Rd, Plymouth, MN 55441

The park has a visitor center with concessions, seating and restrooms. You can also rent sleds if you don't own one. The hill is well lit throughout the day. The park is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
