BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Flags for Fort Snelling is looking for volunteers to help sort American flags.
Please join them at the Mall of America where they are giving the American flags a little TLC with sorting, counting, and packing away with care until next year. You must registeer to volunteer.
There are 2-hour shifts and every pair of hands helps. There will be sorting at the Mall of America Wednesday and Thursday June 13 and 14 from noon to 8 p.m.
Kids are welcome, but this isn’t very entertaining work so they are trusting volunteers to know the patience and attention levels of their children.
There will be sitting or standing options available for volunteers.
Park in the East Parking Ramp. Inside the mall LEVEL 2, follow the map to the southeast corner of the mall. Look for a couple of flags marking the “Authorized Only” entrance to our space.
