BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Hundreds of students and Special Olympics Minnesota athletes will show off their best dance moves Saturday, November 18 at the Mall of America in Bloomington.

It’s the 3rd annual Unified Dance Marathon from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the mall’s main rotunda.

The event features six hours of non-stop entertainment including games and hourly prizes.
Pop sensation Rachel Crow, from the first season of X-Factor, will also perform.

The public is invited. Proceeds supports the more than 8, 200 Special Olympics Minnesota athletes across the state.

Nick Cedergren, a Special Olympics Schools and Youth Coordinator, appeared on KARE 11 News at 11 to talk about the fundraiser’s impact on the organization and those it helps.

Special Olympics Minnesota offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competition.
