Valentine’s Day weekend activities no matter what type of relationship you are celebrating

There are so many different things to do this weekend with your significant other, gal pals, family, or four-legged family member!

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Valentine’s Day is no longer just for dinner, chocolates, and love. It’s become a celebration of all relationships and a time to bring people together. From yoga to giving back to puppies, we’ve compiled some of our top picks to spend your holiday.

Galentine’s Day (Thursday, Feb. 13)

Galentine’s Day Sip & Shop + Free Yoga
Grab your bestie (two- or four-legged) for a night of bubbly, wine, treats, yoga, and shopping at A-Mill Artist Lofts. Yoga will be from 8 – 9 p.m.
Time: 5-9 p.m.
Cost: Free

Fair State is for Friends
Self care is what this evening is all about. Join Fair State Brewing for DIY face masks, bath bombs, Instax photos, and Valentine card creation.
Time: 5-8 p.m.
Cost: Free

Galentine’s Day with HandsOn Twin Cities & lululemon
Gather the gals for some fierce, feminine fun at lululemon Mall of America. HandsOn Twin Cities will be on site with a volunteer project benefiting Keystone Community Services. There will also be drinks, chair massages, snacks, makeup touch-ups, and more.
Time: 6-8 p.m.
Cost: $20

Valentine’s Day (Friday, Feb. 14)

Puppy Cuddle Party
Take a break from your day and cuddle with a puppy from Midwest Animal Rescue & Services (MARS) at the Minneapolis Visitor Center on Nicollet.
Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $5 to snuggle with a puppy

Valentine’s Day Prom
Join Sociable Cider Works for prom all over again. Dress to impress in your old tux or dress for prom photos, crowning of royalty, music, cheesy décor, and more.
Time: 6-10 p.m.
Cost: Free

Dating with Dogs
No need to leave your dog at home for this event benefiting Ruff Start Rescue. Stop by Forgotten Star Brewing for a photo booth, puppiccinos, psychic readings, treats, and more.
Time: 6-9 p.m.
Cost: Free but donations appreciated

Brewery Roller Skating
For the third year in a row, Modist Brewing will be turning the brewery into a roller-skating rink with guest appearances from the Minnesota Roller Derby team. We recommend you reserve your spot in advance.
Time: 6-10 p.m.
Cost: $3 to rent skates or free if you bring your own

Post-Valentine’s Day (Saturday, Feb. 15)

Be Mine: 35th Anniversary Celebration
This event benefiting Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest will include appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages, “Foster Show," raffles, kissing booth, and more. The event will be at Hyatt Regency downtown Minneapolis.
Time: 5-8:30 p.m.
Cost: $16 for adults, $10 for children (8-14), and free for children 7 & under

Candlelight Ski and Hike
Join the Friends of Willow River and Kinnickinnic State Park for a Candlelight Ski, Snowshoe, and Hike event starting at the Willow River Nature Center (Hudson, WI).
Time: 6-8:30 p.m.
Cost: Free to attend but vehicle admission into the park is required
