Arrest made in Mpls. fatal shooting

Police sent out a release Friday morning that homicide investigators have arrested a 35-year-old man and booked him into the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder.

Minneapolis Police found a man suffering from what would be a fatal gunshot wound in this alley on the city's north side.

MINNEAPOLIS - A man is in custody in connection with a fatal shooting early Thursday on the north side of Minneapolis.

Police sent out a release Friday morning that homicide investigators have arrested a 35-year-old man and booked him into the Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder.

Squads from the 4th precinct were dispatched just after 5 a.m. after ShotSpotter was activated on the 1900 block of Newton Avenue North. When they arrived officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital but did not survive.

No suspects were located on the scene.
