ST. CLOUD, Minn. - A man is in custody and facing charges in at least three armed robberies following a week-long crime spree in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud Police say they arrested a 25-year-old man Tuesday morning on the 500 block of Highway 10 South. He was taken into custody without incident, and is being held in the Stearns County Jail pending official charges in all three robberies.

Investigators say the suspect began his spree Nov. 30, when he held up the Kwik Trip on Highway 23 in St. Cloud by walking in, flashing a knife and demanding cash.

The second robbery on Dec. 2 also targeted a Kwik Trip station, this time it was the location on 23rd Street South. A clerk told officers a man walked in, claimed he had a gun and demanded cash. The description of the robbber was a black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build. He appeared to be the same person that robbed the first Kwik Trip two days earlier.

On Dec. 3 the suspect struck again, at a Cash Wise grocery on St. Cloud's east side. The suspect again claimed to have a gun and escaped with cash. Ultimately police were able to identify a getaway vehicle, which led to the arrest of the suspect on Tuesday.

At this point it is unclear if the man will be tied teo additional crimes.
