BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — A Burnsville man has been arrested for probable cause DUI after hitting a killing a pedestrian Tuesday night.
According to Bloomington Police Deputy Chief Mike Hartley, the crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A 66-year-old man was crossing 98th Street near the Newton Avenue intersection when he was struck. He died at the scene.
According to police, a 26-year-old man was driving the car. He was arrested on probable cause DUI criminal vehicular homicide. He is in custody at the Bloomington Jail and has not yet been formally charged.
