SAVAGE, Minn. - A woman is jailed following a reported burglary and assault in Savage Tuesday.
Savage Police responded to a 911 call just before 3:30 p.m. from a home on the 13000 block of Natchez Avenue. Officers located a 12-year-old victim who told them that an unknown woman had entered her home through a rear sliding glass door. There was an altercation between the two before the juvenile was able to escape and run to a neighbor's home, where she called authorities.
Officers went to the victim's home and found the suspect still inside. She was arrested and taken to the Scott County jail. Charges are pending.
