PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — Police are investigating after they say a student put cameras in the girl's bathrooms at two Prior Lake schools.

Prior Lake Police say their officers were called to Hidden Oaks Middle School on Jan. 4. Police say the investigation showed a 17-year-old Prior Lake High School student was recording girls and women in the bathrooms at both the middle school and the high school.

The school says the student is no longer enrolled in the district.

"We are going to do everything we can to identify every single victim in this case, and I just want people to know that we're going to do what we need to do to hold this suspect accountable," said Prior Lake Police Chief Booker Hodges on Monday.

The school is offering counseling and other services to those victims.

In a letter to parents, Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Superintendent Teri Staloch said, "We take this matter seriously and we will work with staff, students and families moving forward. Please know our counselors stand ready to help students, should they wish to talk with them. We want you to know that school security and the well-being of our students and staff are extremely important to us."
