MINNEAPOLIS — A man found dead in a Minneapolis alley Monday morning has been identified, and the death is ruled a homicide.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office reported on Wednesday that the man was Lemandre Eugene Ingram, 40, of Minneapolis. The medical examiner said he died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Spokesman John Elder said dispatchers were called around 7:15 a.m. Monday after a man's lifeless body was discovered laying in the alley behind the 3500 block of North 4th Street. Responding officers noticed obvious signs of trauma, so homicide detectives were called in to launch a suspicious death investigation.
Minneapolis Police reported that there were no obvious suspects in the case, and no one was in custody.
