MINNEAPOLIS — The University of Minnesota sent out a SAFEU alert of a sexual assault that occurred on the school's West Bank Campus around 8:23 p.m. on Friday.
The alert says the assault happened inside the 19th Ave parking ramp at 300 19th Ave S in Minneapolis, which is right across from the Carlson School of Management.
The suspect is described as a tall male with short hair and a skinny build.
He was last seen wearing a ball cap, black jacket with a grey hoodie underneath, dark sweatpants and white tennis shoes.
The university urges anyone in the area to use caution.
So far, no arrests have been made, and no further information has been provided at this time.
University of Minnesota police are investigating this incident.
