EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Police in Eden Prairie are investigating a string of home break-ins that occurred over the last three weeks.

The Eden Prairie Police Department says the burglaries and suspicious incidents have involved homes with unlocked doors, garages, windows and gates.

Police say the incidents have happened at night while residents were sleeping. Purses, wallets, computers and cash left just inside unlocked entrances have been stolen.

Authorities believe there may be multiple suspects, not just in Eden Prairie but across the metro. There was a similar burglary spree reported in Roseville earlier this week. Eden Prairie Police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity by calling 911.

Residents are also encouraged to keep their doors locked, including garage doors, and lock any cars left in driveways or on the street. Police are also suggesting that people keep their valuables tucked away inside their homes, not sitting by the door or in the car.
