A firefighter was hurt after falling while fighting a house fire early Monday morning in North Minneapolis.
Crews were called to the two-alarm house fire at Sheridan Ave N. and 51st Ave N. just after 12:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve.
The home is under construction, so no one lives inside. However, one firefighter was hurt after slipping and falling while fighting the flames, according to the Minneapolis Fire Department.
Luckily, the injury was minor and that firefighter is expected to be OK.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
