GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Get ready to have a blast!

It’s that time again, the Flint Hills Family Festival is this weekend and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The annual festival boasts 42 indoor performances by artists from around the globe who will dazzle audiences with puppetry, dance, music, drama and acrobatics, plus 87 outdoor performances by 460 local and regional artists, representing more than 25 different countries and cultures.

Every year brings a new outdoor spectacle, and this year’s free outside art installation is huge. As in huge inflatable white rabbits, illuminated in stark white light, which have been invading festivals around the world.

The bunnies, ranging in size from 3 to 50 feet, by Australian artist Amanda Parer will be quite at home in their new patch in downtown St. Paul.
