MINNEAPOLIS - Why does it feel like it's been a long time since the Gophers won at Wisconsin AND the Vikings went unbeaten against the Packers in the same season?

Because it has. In fact it's been 32 years, since 1986.

That long streak is over.

Saturday, the Gophers won back the Axe from the Badgers, ending a 14-game losing streak in that series, while becoming Bowl Eligible for the first time under second-year Head Coach PJ Fleck.

Then, on Sunday, the Vikings sliced up the Packers, 24-17, at U.S. Bank Stadium (the Vikings and Packers tied 29-29 at Lambeau Field in September).
