Grow with KARE: Try these plants this season!

Bobby finds some plants that you might not of heard of but could become your favorites!

In this week’s Grow With KARE, Belinda and Laura left me alone to my own devices. So I went to Bachman's and browsed around looking for some new and different plants. I found five that I thought were interesting. I found two types of tomatoes, the first one was a Hybrid Mortgage Lifter, an heirloom tomato that is disease-resistant and a tomato that is perfect for a container that grows 2 feet high and wide.

I also found a great small fruit cucumber called a Cucamelon. Tired of the same old petunias? Try a Pink Sky, it looks like it was splashed with white paint on a vibrant pink flower. And a great spiller for your pots, a vining oregano with pink flowers. Lastly, I found a plant with yellow flowers that when you rub the leaves it smells like buttered popcorn. No lie. It is called the Popcorn Plant!

So go out can try something new and different for your garden.

Good Luck,

Bobby
