GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - For many years mental health was something people just didn't want to talk about, especially when it involved children.

Thankfully much has changed over the decades, thanks to efforts by organizations like the Minneapolis-based Washburn Center for Children. Washburn Center CEO Steve Lepinski dropped by KARE 11 Saturday to talk about how children with mental health issues today have greater acceptance, earlier intervention and better treatment options.
