Mother’s day doesn’t need to be extravagant. By taking a few moments to think about mom and give her a meaningful day.

It’s important to honor our special people on these days set aside to do just that. Gianna from Family Fun Twin Cities has some ideas for Mom’s Day to be special. All it takes is A-B-C.

Arrive with a drink : Surprise mom with her favorite morning beverage in bed. Breakfast in bed is really sweet, but as a mom myself, all I can think is “What happened in the kitchen?” But a mug of hot coffee or a tea cup with tea or a sparkling glass of orange juice is a super sweet gesture.

Be creative with your gift (I will show how): Anything in a jar is super fun and fairly easy. A jar gives you a perimeter to fill, so anything can fit in the jar is a go.  You can even make it a theme of something mom likes.
Ideas include: Baking mom, Chocolate Mom, Sewing Mom, Spa Mom, Flower Mom, Cookie Mom

Celebrate with mom: Family Fun Twin Cities has a Mother’s Day Guide on our site that help narrow down your different options.
