ST PAUL, Minn. — A male juvenile was struck by a Metro Transit Green Line train Wednesday evening near the Victoria Station.

The victim was taken to Regions Hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries, according to Metro Transit spokesperson Howie Padilla.

The crash is under investigation.

Early reports indicate that the juvenile got off at the Victoria Station traveling eastbound and they attempted to cross the tracks before the train departed the station. The train then struck the juvenile.

Trains were stopped in both directions for nearly 20 minutes.
