GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — You know the story, once upon a time, Cinderella bravely coped with a wicked step mother and some nasty step sisters...but now, thanks to Minneapolis Children's Theater Company there is a fresh and comedic take on the classic iconic fairy tale.
CTC’s Cinderella is wrapped in a Victorian holiday party, but done in panto style meaning there are jokes ripped from the headlines, pop songs woven into the musical, wild comedy, a kiss cam, t-shirt cannons and so much more.
Rajané Katurah who plays the title role in Children’s Theatre Company’s production of Cinderella talks with us about the production, and what it’s been like to step into this iconic role.
Cinderella is being performed now through January 5, 2020 at the Children's Theatre company.
