Student survey: Mental health issues rising

Every three years our kids tell us what's up. They tell us in something called the Minnesota Student Survey. It's been around for 30 years.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Student Survey came out on Thursday and it shows something troubling.

Our kids are telling us, in this survey, that many of them are struggling with mental health issues.

In fact it says more Minnesota students than ever report having long-term mental health, behavioral or emotional problems.

Jana Shortal sat down with four teachers to talk about what this means.
