SPICER, Minn. — Deputies say they are investigating two reports of people being pepper sprayed in Spicer, Minnesota.

In one incident, Hamdiya Dayib tells KARE 11 that a man asked her "weird questions" about her hijab and religion. She said she ignored him, and a couple of minutes later he came back and "sprayed stuff" in her eyes.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office confirmed that they are investigating the incident. They said they are also investigating a second pepper spraying report targeting a Hispanic man. They do not know if the two are connected.

"I know he hurt me so badly but I forgive him that doesn’t mean I accept his behavior," Dayib posted on her Facebook page, along with photos of her face after the alleged assault.

"Nobody’s perfect everyone make mistakes," Dayib wrote. "we are all Human beings. Thank you so much everyone for your kind words."
